An electric scooter over the same period has many fewer things to do. Like tire replacements, brake servicing, and occasional checks. Realistically, costs do not even come near to what they are for petrol bikes. Charging costs stay well below petrol per kilometer across all usage patterns.

The gap is wide. For daily commuters, it compounds quickly.
