Other guests that appeared on the show included Laverne Cox, Toni Braxton and Faith Hill. Laverne Cox talked about her experience working on a transgender episode of Orange Is The New Black. Toni Braxton shared her story about overcoming drug addiction. Faith Hill discussed her new album, Where Are You Now?
Throughout the episode, there were many highlights including John and Jennifer’s duet performance of “All of Me,” Laverne Cox’s interview and Faith Hill’s performance. This was a very entertaining episode which is sure to please fans of both stars.

On The Jennifer Hudson Show, Chef Carla Hall cooked up a delicious segment showcasing her favorite recipes. She revealed her go-to dish whenever she’s feeling down and needed to cheer up, and it’s definitely worth trying out!
In addition to the cookery lesson, the episode also featured a performance by singer/actress Jennifer Hudson. Highlights included a rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and an emotional rendition of “I Will Always Love You.” Needless to say, viewers were in for a treat!
Jennifer’s Surprise for an Incredible Teacher

Inside, Hudson found an acoustic guitar and a note from her teacher reading: “You have been an inspiration to me and I know you will continue to be. This guitar is for you to use in your music. You are so talented and I am so proud of you.” Viewers of the episode were left speechless by Hudson’s generosity, with many commenting that it was an unexpected but beautiful gesture.
Hudson has been an incredible advocate for education throughout her career, donating millions of dollars to charity through her foundation. In 2016 she released a album entitled “I Remember Me,” which focused on the importance of education and honoring inspiring teachers.
Behind-the-Scenes Moments You Didn’t See
The Jennifer Hudson Show aired its final episode of season 1 last night and while there wasn’t much new footage released, we did get to see some behind-the-scenes moments that you likely didn’t get to see.
