Kacy Byxbee is a trained actress and singer who has recently premiered her first comedy special on Netflix. Kacy’s Bio: Born in 1995, Kacy Byxbee was raised in the small town of Dalton, Georgia. She is the second of three daughters and started performing as a child, starring in local theatre productions and singing with her church choir. In 2013, after attending the University of Georgia for theater arts, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Kacy quickly garnered attention for her work on television shows such as Designated Survivor and Agent Carter and eventually landed her breakout role in the ABC series American Crime. Her performance as a sensitive young woman wronged by forces beyond her control earned her critical acclaim and nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards. Since then, Kacy has continued to star in major films and TV shows, appearing opposite actors such as Johnny Depp (Pirates of Caribbean), Anne Hathaway (The Princess Diaries) and Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko). In 2019, she debuted her stand-up comedy special on Netflix where she talks about religion, politics and reflections on growing up white in America.
