Chapter 43: My Divorced Crybaby Neighbour

I’ve had a neighbour for as long as I can remember. He’s always been the crybaby type. And even now, after being divorced for over a year, he still tears up whenever something sad happens in his life.

To be fair, his ex-wife wasn’t exactly the best person either. She would leave him alone for days at a time and then get mad when he asked her to come home. But still, every time something bad happens to him, my neighbour goes running to his wife for comfort.

I used to feel sorry for him, but now I just pity him. He’s obviously not happy without his ex-wife and yet he continues to go back to her even when she doesn’t care about him anymore.

It’s really frustrating and I wish he could get over his issues and move on..

Chapter 42: My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

I was waiting for my crying neighbour to finish up her conversation with her boyfriend when I heard a loud crash. I walked over to see what had happened and found that she’d knocked over a bin full of recyclable material. She started screaming and yelling at me, telling me that I was responsible for ruining her life. All of the sudden, five or six of her friends showed up and they all started attacking me. I tried to get away but they were all following me, yelling insults and accusing me of everything from murder to being a homophobe. I ran into my apartment building and locked myself in my apartment.

Chapter 41: New Year Eve Plans

Tonight is New Year’s Eve and although I’m technically single, I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do. My divorced crybaby neighbour is hosting a party at her place and apparently it’s going to be hilarious.

I’m definitely game for some laughs on this special night and I know that my neighbours will be too. We’re all grown adults and it’s time we stopped pretending like everything is okay when it clearly isn’t. Let’s revel in our miseries and laugh ourselves silly!

Chapter 40: The Case of the Missing Milk

As the family of Melissa rowed their boat back to shore, they couldn’t help but wonder what could have happened to their neighbour’s cow. No one had seen or heard from Melissa in days and her cow was conspicuously absent from her pen.

Bret, Melissa’s husband, grew increasingly concerned as the days went on and he hadn’t heard from his wife. He contacted her work colleagues and friends, but everyone had either seen or spoken to her since Friday morning. Fed up with waiting for a response, Bret decided to go drive by Melissa’s home on Saturday morning, just in case she had come home during the night and was sleeping off whatever troubled her.

When he arrived at Melissa’s house, Bret found it locked up tight with no sign of his wife or any bolt has been disturbed. Worried that something might be wrong, Bret called the emergency services and asked them to check on Melissa. When they arrived at her home, they found her body on the floor next to her bed – she had apparently committed suicide by drinking pesticide poisoning!

Chapter 39: A Mysterious Package

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all well. I thought I’d write a post about something that’s been on my mind for a while now. It’s something that happened to me recently and it’s really affected me.

Anyway, I moved into my new place a few months ago and one of the tenants in the building is my divorced crybaby neighbour. She always seems to be crying and moaning and generally making a big fuss, but I figured she must just be having a tough time so I didn’t really pay her much attention until one day…

That was when I received a package from her. It was addressed to me and when I opened it, there were several pictures of herself and her ex-husband together inside. There was also a letter which said some really hurtful things about me.

I don’t know what got into me, but at first I just laughed off what she had written as being nothing more than petty revenge. But then the weight of what she had said started to sink in and it really hit me how angry and hurt she must have felt after getting divorced.

It suddenly made sense why she acted so sad all the time – she must have been feeling really lonely and lost. And even though I don’t feel particularly sympathy for her right now, at least I know that whatever happens next between us, it’ll be fair one way or another.

Chapter 38: The Council of Elders

The Council of Elders is an incredibly important group in the town of Springfield. They’re responsible for making sure the town runs smoothly, and their decisions are usually respected by everyone.

This all changed when Homer became president of the council. He was a very different leader from the previous ones, and he didn’t seem to care about the well-being of the town or its citizens. He only cared about himself and his own interests.

One day, Homer decided that he needed more money than he was getting from the government, so he decided to raise taxes on the residents of Springfield. The council refused to do anything about it, even though they knew that it would cause a lot of problems for them.

The people of Springfield started to revolt against Homer, and they began to boycott his businesses. It wasn’t long before he had no choice but to resign from his position on the council.

Chapter 37: The Mandolinist

As I was tidying up my kitchen, Caroline called out to me.
“How’s your neighbour doing?” she asked.
“He’s doing better,” I replied, “but he still cries a lot.”
Caroline looked surprised.
“I’m sorry to hear that. Do you know why he cries so much?”
“I think it’s because he misses his wife,” I explained.
Caroline nodded and said nothing more.
A few minutes later, Caroline left for work and I got down to business cleaning the kitchen. But my mind was distracted all the time by my neighbour. Why did he cry so much? And what could I do to help him?

Chapter 36: A Better Plan

When my neighbour moved out, I was excited. I could have the place to myself! However, as soon as she left, I started to feel like a terrible person.

I should have been congratulating her and wishing her all the best. Instead I felt guilty and like a bad neighbour.

I started to make more of an effort to talk to her and get to know her better. We would chat for hours about anything and everything. It felt great finally being friends with my neighbour after so many years of hating her guts!

Unfortunately, not long after we started getting along so well, she got married. Now she’s living across the hall from me with her new husband and baby daughter. It’s strange not having her around anymore but now we’re just good old friends again.

Chapter 35: A Complication

So, after two years of being divorced and living on opposite sides of the state, I finally get to meet my new neighbour. We’re going to be living next door to each other now, which is great news for me because it means I won’t have to hear her crying all the time.

At first, things are going well. She’s polite and we chat about the weather and our kids. But then, gradually, I start to notice she’s been crying more than usual. It doesn’t take long before I realise that something is wrong.

After a month of relentless crying, she tells me that her ex-husband is back in town and they’re getting back together. She’s devastated and doesn’t know what to do.

I feel sorry for her and help her to make some decisions about how to move on from her past relationship. We talk about coping mechanisms and support each other as we go through the tough times.

Our neighbourhood has become much more pleasant since she moved in. The only downside is that I’m now constantly tuned into her emotional state – but that’s okay because at least I know she’s safe and happy.”

Chapter 34: Preparations

The day finally arrived. I had been dreading it for what felt like months but here I was, about to do the unthinkable- live without my husband. All of my neighbours had gathered on my front lawn to offer their well wishes and support as I walked down the aisle. It was a beautiful summer day and I felt hopeful as we all filed into the small church. My husband stood at the back of the room with our officiant. We took our seats and the ceremony began. The minister told us how much we loved each other and how happy we would be once we were divorced.

We both tearfully promised to make things work next time around and then it was time for me to walk down the aisle. As I made my way up the aisle, I could feel all of my neighbours looking at me with confusion. One woman even came up to me afterwards and asked if everything was alright, as she clearly recognized me from around town. But that was okay, I knew that they were just kind people who wanted nothing more than for me to be happy. As soon as we got home, my husband whisked me away to our hotel room so that he could consummate our divorce properly. It was over in minutes and afterwards, all I wanted to do was curl up in bed and cry myself to sleep…
