PLACES TO VISIT IN ODISHA

1. Daringbadi: Situated at an altitude of 3000 feet above sea level, Daringbadi is called the Kashmir of Odisha. If you are on Odisha Trip then definitely visiting this place, it is one of the special hill stations of Odisha. This hill station is very beautiful which attracts tourists towards it. This place s famous for dense forest and fauna. The climate of the Daringbadi Mountain will enchant you; the water sliding from the waterfalls in the middle of the dense forests looks really beautiful.
2.  Chilika Lake: This is a great tourist destination among the places to see in Orissa, which is full of beautiful views. Chilika Lake, located near Mangalajodi Tourism, is a great destination for a picnic. For your information, let us tell you that Chilika Lake is the largest coastal bay in the world, apart from this; you can also see animals like flamingos and kingfishers here.
3. Udayagiri and Khandgiri Caves: you must have read in history that Ajanta cave is famous all over the world. There were about 33 caves in this cave, which went into ruins with time. The cave exhibits some of the finest stone carvings by Kalinga artisans. 
4. Keonjhar Lake: It is one of the largest districts of the state, located at a distance of 220 km from Bhubaneswar. The special thing about this district is that, this district is situated in the north by Jharkhand, in the south by Jaipur, in the west by Dhenkanal and in the east by Mayurbhanj. The famous Keonjhar plateau is located here from which the Baitarani River originates.  Coming here, tourists can see Kandadhar Falls, Sangahara Falls, Bada Ghaghra Falls, etc.
5. Dhaulagiri: Dhaulagiri, popularly known as Dhauli, is a beautiful and picturesque hill situated on the banks of Daya River. It is 25km from the capital city Bhubaneswar which you can easily reach by car or train. The place is of great historical importance as it is the place where the kalinga war was fought in the 3^rd century BC.
6. Jagannanth Temple: Who doesn’t know the Jagannath Temple? Built by the ruler of the Ganga dynasty in the 12^th century, this temple has been a worldwide attraction for the Rath Yatra over the years. The main deities worshiped here are Lord Jagannanth, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra, who are visited by lakhs of tourists. Many mysteries are still present in this temple, on which even scientists wonder.
7. Bhubaneswar Temple: Known as the ‘City of Temples’, Bhubaneswar is one of the best tourist places to visit in Odisha. Known as the capital of the state of Odisha, this place was under the rule of king Shishupala for a long time. It is a classic example of history, heritage and urbanization. In this place you will get to see wonderful temples and the work done on them, wildlife sanctuaries, caves etc.
8.   Puri: It a beautiful city located in the state of Odisha in eastern India, just 60km from the capital. There are many beautiful temples present in Puri of Odisha and this is the reason why Bhubaneshwar, the capital of Odisha is called the city of temples.
